Description:

A perfect container for the Chrysanthemum Mosquito Coil Incense, the pattern on the lid is inspired by the Morning Glory flower. Produced by Yamasaki Design Works, this cast iron coil incense holder made in the Kuwana region of Mie Prefecture.

History: 
Cast iron made in Kuwana began in the Edo period when the region produced cast iron cannons. Also known for its paper stencils used for dying kimono, the pattern on this incense holder is inspired from traditional summer textile patterns.

Care Instructions:
Dust and wipe to clean. Lightly wash with soap and water to remove stains. Dry thoroughly afterwards.

 

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund - minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
