The Story

Description:
This mini-Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth for small gifts or bento boxes. The lovely Kamawanu Furoshikis uses a hand printed method which allows the design to be viewed on both sides of the cloth. The white rice on a navy backdrop creates a fun contrast while adding an eye-catching design to your gift presentation.

History: 
Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth dating back to the Nara period (710-794 AD). Originally, this cloth was used to wrap valuables. As public bathhouses became more popular, the cloth was used to wrap one's clothes while taking a Furo, or steam bath. Today, the furoshiki lives on as a wrapping cloth for gifts and bento.
Materials:
100% cotton

Care Instructions:
We recommend hand washing for the first several times to prepare them for eventual machine wash.

 

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2.
