This sliding wood handle is meant to help you relocate your iron JIU JIU pan while protecting your hands. Each handle is handmade with a mechanism inside that allows you to slide half of the lid to come apart and fits onto any section of the JIU JIU pan's rim. Comes in a beautiful beech or walnut wood to fit your interior.

Each handle is carved from a single natural piece of wood in Tendo-City, Yamagata, Japan.
Beech wood (lighter wood) Walnut wood (darker wood)
Variation:
There will be natural variation in color, texture and grain for each handle.
Care Instructions:
Avoid leaving the handle on while the pan is being used for cooking. Do not let the handle touch a heat source or it may burn or be damaged. To use, place your thumb over the lettering and slide the top half of the handle back to open. Tilt the handle slightly upwards then attach the bottom half to the rim of the JIU JIU pan. Slide the top half of the handle back into place until it locks over the pan securely, then carefully lift the pan to its desired location.
