Made in Yamagata, Japan by a female-led design company called F/style, this low looped hemp mat has a slightly raised three-dimensional silhouette of a cat made from high loop woven wool.  Strictly an indoor-only cat mat that can be displayed in a welcoming entryway or placed as a room accent where you see fit. A charming addition to the home for any cat lover, this mat gives any space a happy appearance wherever it's placed.

History: 
Emi Igarashi and Wakana Hoshino, both born in Niigata Japan, co-founded the brand 'F/style' in 2001.  By focusing on the art of making things, or "monozukuri" in Japanese, F/style's mission is to re-popularize ancient Japanese craft by applying them to new and contemporary designs that fit within a wide-range of modern aesthetics.

Care Instructions:
This is an indoor only cat mat because of the materials.  F/style recommends only hand wash and spot cleaning for care and absolutely no dry cleaning or machine wash due to its wool material.

 

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund - minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
