The Story

Description:
"A small tea box, inspired by a simple letter “は” (ha) hand-drawn on a wooden container, a quiet sign, perhaps, made by the artisan to match its lid and base. In Japanese, “haha” can mean “mother.” This box is dedicated to mothers everywhere who steal a moment for themselves between the endless rhythms of caregiving.

Each tiny utensil is carefully chosen to fit inside, including pieces by one of my favorite tea artists, Yutaka Nakajima. A few sips of matcha in the quiet afternoon, at the kitchen table when no one’s home — this tea box reminds you that caring for yourself, even briefly, is an act of quiet strength." -SOUU DOBASHI
