The Story

Description:
The graceful curves of bentwood in the Akita Mokko stool, designed by Isamu Kenmochi, combine simple beauty with functionality, and it has been cherished across generations since its release in 1958. This stool is lightweight, and the seat is wide and sturdy, offering a stable sitting experience. This stool is not only useful for dining areas but also for entryways, or as extra seating for guests. The biggest advantage of this stool is that it can be stacked and stored when not in use. Since it has no backrest, it can be conveniently tucked under a table when stacked. This design takes into account the space limitations of Japanese homes, allowing you to effectively use your space without worrying about storage.

Please note: Due to the size and weight of the Akita Mokko Stool, a $30 shipping and handling fee will be applied at checkout. Please email [email protected] for assistance when purchasing for pickup. Ships fully assembled.
